Todderick has a Q&A with Dilfer on Russo (link above). Some good stuff in there. Talks about Anthony gaining confidence in his physicality as an area where he differentiate himself from other QBs.
The Elite 11 experience for Russo reminds me of something the Twins play-by-play guy was saying, which is that at some point a young player recognizes that he belongs in the big leagues and is no longer worried about getting sent back down to the minors. When the player reaches that point, their confidence grows significantly and they can start to really focus on getting better and can play much more relaxed and within themselves. I'm hoping the Elite 11 experience for Russo has the same sort of impact where he knows he belongs and can compete with anyone and can just focus on getting better and playing with a ton of confidence.
