Do they sell GA Tickets for Women's BB

The whole ticket system is a mess. My whole row is always empty ... and always grayed out for single ticket sales.

Can you check the availability of a specific seat via the internet. I was able to identify open seats in advance last season. This season, I don’t see the same capability? I often invite guests to section 104 if I can find a nearby seat?

Yes, you can theoretically specify specific seats, but the system is flawed, often showing grayed out seats that are, in fact, always empty at game time.

  1. Saw only 100 level tickets selling for $20 on scarletknights.com.

They do not sell season tickets to the 200 and 300 anymore (old GA tickets). That's why the only tic kets you see are 100 level.

As for seats being empty but greyed out, it because they obviously are bought but not used. Case in point, I own 2 WBB season tickets for 8 years. I sit Sec 114 Row D. I basically never go. Why? Because my son plays travel (and now also HS varsity and JV) hockey; my daughter does competitive gymnastics; and both me and my wife work full time. I keep the seats to support the team and try to find people to go. But reality it's not easy to find people who want to go even though I offer them for free. It's not a Hobbs or RU issue.

Just curious - does RU allow you to donate tickets back if you're not using them? A lot of non-profit theaters do that, and it would be win-win for ticket holders and RU.

I sympathize in that we have tickets at U of A for football, Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Softball. We have attended little in the last 3 years as Amy's health deteriorated and it was too difficult to attend the games. I committed to attend Women's Basketball this year, but now that Amy has had a liver transplant we will not be around until the end of the season.

Yet, we have kept the tickets all along - because, ultimately, those are the seats we want when we are able to go, which (hopefully) will be the next seasons in each of the sports.

I have not seen a program for that for WBB. I used to donate them to the local girls CYO league, but now it is too difficult because they don't give out individual tickets anymore. Only season pass cards. And to try and get the physical individual game tickets is too much a pain in the arse.

It sounds crazy if, indeed, they're not selling any GA tickets for $10. This was confirmed by a friend who came to a recent home game. She and her wife were only give the option of $20 tickets. I know that the attendance hasn't been good, but this policy does nothing to entice casual fans to attend a game or two, say nothing of a family. I'm going to call the ticket office to see if this is going to be the case for all home games going forward. IMHO, it seems misguided.

Agreed..my Kids like going to RU Basketball but men are cheaper than women's games. We went to the one selling tickets in student section for $5.00.
