It may be time to cut ties with Pat Hobbs. This football hire is the single biggest hire in the history of Rutgers athletics. This hire will either bring the program forward or bury it for another decade plus. After being duped so badly by chris ash (which seems hard to believe could be done), where Hobbs repeatedly stated his interview with ash was his, “best interview ever” why should he be trusted to make the most important athletic hire in our school’s history?

If the hang up with Greg is he wants full control over fundraising and where money goes that shouldn’t be a hold up.

1) we’ve already more or less fully fundraised for olympic sports and basketball, those sports won’t need much capital investment over the next 5-10 years. And thats what hobbs is, a fundraiser.

2) hobbs is clueless when it comes to football, CLUELESS

3) I’ve always felt Sarah was a much warmer person and a woman who has the relationships built and utmost respect of our donors and alums. It’s time to hand the keys over to her as AD and let her control all sports except football and let GS have total control of football and dictate fundraising efforts for football and football facilities.

Hobbs may have really ****ed himself letting ash go after 4 games. The rest of the year being a dumpster fire is going to fall on one man and one man only, pat hobbs. No ones gonna blame nunz for not being able to turn this around on the fly. The heat is going to be really turned up on hobbs over these next couple months, if the BOG wants GS and he’s the only thing standing in the way, will be very curious to see if he survives.
