Size was an issue last year after the injuries. Here's a great article on the improved size going into next year. If I had one thing on my wishlist it would be one more guard....at least 6'5" with length and long arms, 6'4/6'3" Bullock was already added, he is more stout than long.

...........Shaq Doorson and Ibrahima Diallo, who stand at 6'11" and 6'10" respectively. Add in the pair of 6'9" newcomers, and all of a sudden Rutgers has Big Ten worthy size. In fact, after reviewing the rosters of all 14 Big Ten teams last season, only Purdue and Maryland had four or more players who stood at 6'9" or taller. Add in 6'7" Deshawn Freeman, also back from a season ending injury, and rising sophomore 6'6" Jonathan Laurent, and Rutgers has legitimate size and versatility in the frontcourt

We will see. Depends what the SandC program can do. We are better with this guy than the guy Jordan brought from the NBA. He seemed to be a great friend, hooking a lot of his buddies up with jobs.

Two things ...

Yes, they have "size" ... BUT ... will the frontcourt play like they're 6'9-6'11 or will they play like they're 6'3?

And our guards, while talented, now also face the size issue. At least they're bigger than Myles Mack, but still on the small side. Hopefully they can overcome this with their athleticism or shooting.

Either way, adding size is nice to see this offseason.

We definitely have Big Ten height... the S&C program will help with overall size/strength, and coaching will help the players *play* to their size.

We have measurable height but will they play big

Rashod Kent at 6'4" played bigger than a lot of 6'9" guys and we have had 6'9" guys play 6'3"

Have to look at explosiveness, qucickness, double hop, hands, and coordination

At least measurable height is a start...

If I am not mistaken, Kent actually measured at 6 foot five and one half or three-quarter inches tall at Houston's camp, and I know he had extraordinarily long arms. I remember that one year he won every opening tip off at home until the last home game of the season.
