No idea if this is still the case, but at the Cask 'n Flagon outside Fenway Park for Red Sox games on Sundays, they would line up your drink on the bar, right in front of you, but you couldn't touch it until noon or you got booted out of the place. An absurd pre-game situation.

One thing they did do was widen South Washington Ave at Metlars, significantly improving my commute at times. So I can let this alcohol thingy pass. However, if the County was responsible, all bets are off.
