I picked up my season tickets at the RAC.

Just an outsiders opinion...

I haven't been inside in a while. I like the cosmetic changes I saw. You can still smell the newly painted floor. I also like the fact they have incorporated more color throughout as opposed to the drab atmosphere I remember from when I had season tickets. It was also my first time in a long while looking around Livingston. The changes really make the campus more visually appealing. The new dorms and the classroom building where the lot used to be are great additions. I liked the idea of the baseball/softball facility but wasn't prepared for how small it appears. Was expecting a bit more. It also appears they've "cleaned up" the areas around the ball fields and track. I believe the Women's Field Hockey team was practicing.

The same when I went over to the stadium. Once again there appears to be more color. They were working on the scoreboard and finishing up in front of the North Entrance. Was the large Amerihealth sign there last year? I don't remember. The Visitor's Center has grown on me.

I wanted to check out the Honors Dorm and new apartments but didn't feel like dealing with the building commuter traffic so I headed south.

Got to say they've really spruced up the place since I last took the time to wander around.

@knightfan7 did you head over to the Hale Center to see the new lobby? it's pretty nice...interactive screens, the new uniforms, nicer trophy display.

Good word, that.

Words like "dagnabit" are vastly more impactful, IMO, then words like the ubiquitous "shit". Non-cursing is the new cursing.

Yeah, trying to clean up my act. Afraid I'll use up my quota of cursing reading the boards Saturday.

I thought it was substituting fruits and vegetables for more curse-laden monikers.. or combine them.. you darn rutabaga!

Speak for yourself; I happen to love Brutalism.

Knightfan,
the new baseball/softball indoor facility is 100% bigger than the current one. LOL--At least they won't have to spend all the Winter practice time outside on the RAC parking lots playing on the painted "field".

The pics made it appear larger. That's all. Of course it's a major improvement

Knightfan,
I think for now,we build what we can afford and ,hopefully, once the Big Ten TV money comes in,try to expand and upgrade.

"Dagnabit" was made famous by Walter Brennan on The Real McCoys, when he was upset with his son Richard Crenna. (Yes, I did graduate back in 1970.)

@knightfan7 the lobby is usually open except on game day. You can't get past the lobby though without an escort.

Not a bad idea
