Dugenio and Rall Earn Big Ten Weekly Awards

How does Ross Scott not get recognized on offense? Five goals, including the tying goal with 8 seconds left in regulation, and the winning goal in OT.

Looks like they went purely by numbers. Wisnauskus went 5-3 but that was in a rout.

I am very excited to see Ross' next game. I watch him very closely. He scored 4 goals from places on the field he hadn't been scoring from all year.

I was waiting for him to use his strength and quickness on the right side of the crease and he did that. It should open up more scoring opportunities and give defenses more to think about. He needs to be accounted for there now which will open Jacoby, Bartolo, Knobloch and others to go to work.

For those that don't know, Ross isn't the biggest guy but he's incredibly strong for his size and quick. Kid has legs like tree trunks.

Congrats to Dugenio and Rall. Both had fantastic games. It didn't get discussed much but Dugenio had a great day at x.

Rall is playing like a first team AA. I am not saying we will beat Maryland should we play them again, but not having that kid in the last game was a massive loss. He disrupts so much of what teams are trying to do. And he's great on groundballs/wings on faceoffs.

Dude is a ball of muscle, like all these kids. Giving them hugs hello, you wouldn't want to run into any of these guys in a dark alley. Dudes are jacked. Every single one of them.

They’re all grinding in the gym. Fitness is a 24/7 12 month thing for these guys.

I know a few (Bren included) have those wrist bands that manage all data points for health. Heart rate, calories burned, sleep patterns, max effort levels, etc....

I look at the read outs on his phone after a game...it’s incredible what these kids burn off in games and practices. Now I’m sure back in our day we burned a lot also...but it’s wild to have the technology tied to a wrist band that gives these guys all that data to work with and track. Pretty cool

Big week ahead. Semi prep starts today

No doubt. Tech has made these guys bigger, stronger, faster. The weight room is insane. Every machine and rack is fitted with log in system that measures literally everything. Every time. Gain and loss information, among all else, is right at everyone's finger tips.

Between better lifting techniques, nutrition, and God given ability to start with, it's no surprised these kids are all so chiseled.

I know a lot of us lost a ton of weight as the season progressed. For these kids, they are better able to keep it. Sign of the times. It's just much more professional at the end of the day.

I'm amazed how much water these dudes drink lol

The difference in weight training between now and when I played can only be described as monumental. You all are probably too young to remember the Universal Gym, though at least free weights still exist. And it stopped once the season started.
