D.J. Durkin and Mike Sanford are two guys to focus on. Both could be the next Herman or Narduzzi. They come from big time programs and are considered rising stars. Durkin worked for Harbaugh and was interim coach at Florida when Muschamp was fired. He won his bowl game. I believe he was also at Stanford and now Michigan. Sanford has great pedigree coming from Notre Dame, Stanford and Boise St. MAC coaches are often hit or miss. I like Rhule, but he may be waiting for Penn State to open up. Both he and the MAC guys might be too expensive. I'm not down on Al Golden. Walked into a horrendous situation in Miami. The president and AD lied to him. He could have left and they ponied up money to keep him. Great recruiter and if he hired a great staff, he could be successful. Julie needs to get this done quickly.
