Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey are top-5 picks, but Rutgers could cost them their NBA Draft selection

With Rutgers likely to miss the NCAA Tournament, who could benefit most from extra exposure?

All do respect to the “big money” guys (a term used a lot on this board) are these the articles you want to see ? It’s only going to get worse from here on a National level. Doing nothing sends a message and the message we DO NOT want. Nice guys are nice winners are legends!

The sting from these type articles will always linger and hit harder to members of this board. Yes articles will be written and then the tournament will start people will forget and both casual basketball fan and NBA only fan will see the Rutgers block R when there names are called in the top 5.

It’s not going to hurt their draft status. What can happen is if they have instant impact in the league. The negative articles about Pike and Rutgers will be never ending.

That won’t happen either. No basketball writers are going to give a shit about Rutgers or Steve Pikiell once Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey are no longer here.

No it isn’t lol, we haven’t hurt their draft stock at all
Why do we care if it costs them or not.

Dylan and Ace could not help RU beat Kennesaw State nor could they remain on the court for a good portion of the season.

They have themselves to blame. Should at least have 4 or 5 more wins if they can stay healthy.

Right! Writers are still bringing up freaking Mike Rice and Eddie Jordan but they’ll give Pike a pass. Gotcha.

Problem is neither will big time recruits or transfers . 🤷‍♂️

Dumb article, they could just as easily do lousy in ncaas if we made it--- what if they suck in those games?? Scouts have watched them all year and that's what's goong to decide where they rank. Smart people don't piss aways millions based on 1 or 2 games
Bailey has hurt his own draft.Very careless with the ball and has shot poorly.I don’t see how in the world he is a 1-3 pick.Lots of hype unsupported by erratic play.
Very disappointing

Watching tonight’s game I wouldn’t think we had any NBA talent on our team. The potential in Grant showed if he developed over 3 more years

If RU can’t finish .500 with 2 first rounders … why would anyone ever consider coming to Rutgers?

If their draft stock has been damaged they have done it to themselves, life is full of adversity, you either fight through it or give in to it. One thing Cooper flag does is he makes everybody around him better, I’ll let it go at that.

No. He has much better players around him to begin with. Am not making excuses for Bailey and Harper bad play, but they are playing with teammates who should not be on a Big10 team.

Flagg would struggle just as much here and our guys would be fantastic at Duke.
