BC had a point guard going to Fordham, another guard with a psu offer, and two bigs (6'8 ish) - one might be Seton Hall and another Maac level. Armstrong is probably the best coach in the area as well. It’s awesome.
On an unrelated, but sort of connected, caution tempering note, does any know how Don Bosco managed to blow it in the regional semi finals against Bergen Catholic (a team they blew out 3 times during the season)? If there was another thread on this already I’m sorry. I don’t usually follow recruiting but Harper is local hype for us. I’m genuinely curious how they managed to lose that game with the best player in the country - Harper scored 38 in the game…
I don’t follow recruiting much but doesn’t Don Bosco Prep also have other good players? They beat them twice earlier in the season by 20+.BC had a point guard going to Fordham, another guard with a psu offer, and two bigs (6'8 ish) - one might be Seton Hall and another Maac level. Yeah Bosco was definitely better IMO I'm just saying they didn't lose to a bunch of stiffs. Plus the BC coach knows what he's doing in a one game scenario.I don’t follow recruiting much but doesn’t Don Bosco Prep also have other good players? They beat them twice earlier in the season by 20+.
This could be interesting. Under the current rules, he can’t go pro if he reclasses and tries to go one and done because he would only be 18 when the NBA season starts. Could be the prefect test case to challenge the agreement between the league and the players union to get rid of the rule blocking players under the age of 19.If this happens -- we won't have the #1 guy in the class. But I'll settle for number 2 & 3

This kid is so good, I think he will want to go to the NBA as soon as possible, and I think NBA teams will be falling all over themselves to have a chance to draft him.Same thing happened with Scoot Henderson - he spent 2 years in the G-League getting paid before he could declare for the NBA Draft.
I would imagine this will become more frequent - elite prospects bailing on HS to get money sooner.
Similar to what Gavin Wimsatt did - leave HS a year early to start collecting money.
Let’s all panic again!!!!Regarding Dylan, some may have seen articles from this weekend that say he just stated in an interview that he'll make his decision either during the summer after the Peach Jam, or else later during the regular basketball season...
An article from a Missouri site also states that they feel he's leaning heavily Duke... Is the possible delay of his commitment cause for more concern for RU? I guess we just have to be more patient, but Duke fans seem to feel that it benefits the Blue Devils...

I never panicked in the first place about anyone. Never had an idea which way Dylan was leaning, if any, and hopefully he makes the best decision for himself. If by some chance he signs with RU and ends up playing here it's all gravy. I just thought his possible postponement in announcing was interesting.Let’s all panic again!!!!
It’s not really a postponement… he never set a date. He gave parameters of a timeline. He’s a kid. NO one knows a damn thing but perhaps his Mom. It’s us or Duke. If he chooses them, DONT HATE, just move on. Staff has left no stone unturned , can’t blame themI never panicked in the first place about anyone. I meant this article by Parker Gillam that I happened to run across on Saturday.. Should've been more specific... Fourth paragraph from the bottom.Missouri site? lol what?
What does some random Mizzou beat writer know about Harper’s recruitment? He clearly is out of the loop and I wouldn’t pay attention to it.I meant this article by Parker Gillam that I happened to run across on Saturday.. Should've been more specific... Fourth paragraph from the bottom.
