I posted the following (below) on the basketball board last week and thought I'd also pass it along here because several folks in the past have mentioned they have interest in this particular shirt. Auction ends Sunday night.

Saw this on ebay. Back in the 1975-1976 Rutgers men's basketball season, the team went 26-0 in the regular season, advanced to the NCAA Final Four in Philadelphia before finishing 31-2. The T-Shirt below came out during the regular season run. It is a medium and despite the description of it being a 1980s shirt, it isn't. It's the original RU fan shirt from the undefeated season. I know this because I still have mine. Thought someone out there might want to know that it's out there if you want it.

I had a T-shirt from the last Rutgers-Princeton football game (my senior year) that I would love to find. It had a picture of a less-than-masculine Tiger on the back saying "We don't want to play anymore." Wish I could find one of those. Great memory of a great game.

Cool design and if truly authentic, it would be a nice shirt to own. Looking at the seller a bit closer, they have several of these 80's shirts from a variety of colleges. If this shirt came right off the printing press in 1976, was folded up and put in a time capsule and sent to the year 2019, I would expect it to look exactly like the t-shirt being sold. Point is, this shirt looks almost too good to be from 1976, right down to the graphics and the pretty crisp fold lines on the left of the picture. Either it's a very well preserved, 42 year old shirt.....or it's a repro. One thing in the favor of original is the seller is not selling multiples of this same design.

Mine still looks this good. It only comes out on special Rutgers occasions in the last 42 years. Unfortunately, there haven't been a lot of those. But I wore it back in the early 1990s when RU defeated PSU at the RAC. I wore it when Rutgers beat Lousivlle in 2006 and when RU was actually going to the NCAAs in the 1980s.
