1. Anyone who thinks that Hobbs hired Ash should either resign from the board or just move onto the next post, as its clear you have no clue how things work

2. Hobbs has raised more money than his predecessors (almost combined) and is almost single handedly responsible for the fact that Rutgers can finally be competitive in our coaching salaries and has gotten our facilities on par with many Big 10 schools

3. Hobbs has restored respectability back to the Athletic Department compared to what we saw with Julie. We are always going to have controversy - supposedly our best AD ever - Mr Mulcahy was sent packing by the NJ media, Hobbs has been pretty scandal free in his few years at the helm and has made some descent hires in non -revenue sports (cue the softball replies)

4. Hobbs reports to Barchi - not the fanbase. The frustration by the fans has been the LACK of information coming out of Piscataway, and that is a GOOD thing. Imagine if Rutgers had leaked that it was close to signing Greg and it fell thru. The meltown today is because all the supposed "insiders" said it was a done deal and it never was.

5. The thought that Hobbs didnt bring a 8 year deal to the BOG and somehow hid it, is preposterous. Hobbs clearly knows how to operate behind the scenes, the BOG is controlled by Greg Brown - the same man who hired Chris Ash and the same man who was the chief architect behind bringing back Greg. The BOG clearly knew what Greg's demands were

6. Hobbs gets the NJ connection and it was a brilliant move making Nunzio the interim. If Hobbs wants to have input into the assistant coaching pool AFTER seeing what happened in Chris Ash's first year, then I am all for it Hobbs has EARNED that right after all the good he has done for us and no one had a single bad thing to say about the man until the end of last year when he extended Ash - for which we may never know the true story

So please, stop acting like a bunch of 5 year olds who cant get their favorite toy at Xmas because it sold out. Greg may have been the safest and most reasonable SHORT TERM FIX, but give me Butch or :Lane with a staff of QUALIFIED ASSISTANTS and I am more than happy.

Hobbs is anything but inept. he knows how to work the NJ political scene and I look forward to seeing how he handles this search. He said from Day 1 that it would be done after the season and now that his words will come true, people are suddenly calling for his termination, I have no doubt that Hobbs has already been back-channeling thru coaches whose names we haven't even heard as possibilities, and he realizes that after the season is over, more coaches are available, but that doesnt maean he hasnt been talking to them already

So in the words of our Wrestling Coach, please calm down and let the man do his work - we owe him at least that for putting us in the position to make this a financially desirable hire for the first time ever in Rutgers history
