Football ESPN FPI projects RFootball 2021 schedule

Bleh.

I'm wondering if anyone knows much about Delaware. They are ranked #5 in FCS this year, so a bit surprised that we are favored so heavily in that game.

Ohio State, 6.7%.

Delaware’s RB Lee was CAA player of the year last season. He’s short (but built solidly), quick, shifty and fast. Transferred from Army a few years ago. The kind of guy that winds up on an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent and winds up getting spot duty (and producing yardage) for five seasons…

QB was 1st team all-CAA.

Their team size is not small by any standard.

Good thing Rutgers has a fairly sound tackling defense and usually gets multiple hats to the ball. Plus, the new CB from UNC bolsters the team tackling prowess this season….

"The Blue Hens, who were voted to finish second in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), return a plethora of experienced players. Delaware placed three players on the Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America squad with offensive lineman David Kroll, running back Dejoun Lee and safety Kedrick Whitehead all earning accolades."

I guess the 'Cuse number reflects it's up there. Given they are home games MSU, NW and MD are too low. Delaware too high.

Not surprising of course, but after our play in the BIG last season I would think we would be getting a bit more respect. :DeadHorse: :BeatDeadHorse:
They only have us really favored in our OOC games and just past 50/50 in the Illinois game.
Guess "Gary" and the boys will have to use this to keep on chopping. SHARP AXE

That puts us at 4.6 expected wins, so either 4 or 5. I think we are a decent bet to get five and think we have a better chance of six than finishing with three.
