DOE overruled NJSIAA, Wayne Hills back in the playoffs.

I'm not sure I understand this situation. Didn't the Hayek brothers play for WH last year? I believe they transferred back to their town after playing at SJR. Are you not allowed to transfer back to your hometown from a private school and live in the same residence? What am I missing here? And shouldn't the violation have been last year?

It makes no sense. So long as they live in the school district, they shouldn't be penalized for playing there. If you go to a private school and transfer back, I don't see how that's cheating. If you go to a school where you don't live, that's a different story.

Agreed. I have to assume the violation was that they didn't sit out last year and WH only self reported this year. I guess we will find out at some point.
