Flood had nothing in 2013 at DB. Downright scary how little talent he had and then of course the injuries came, Ian Thomas left, etc. By all accounts, he has worked his tail off to try and get this unit stocked, but did he try too hard to accelerate patching it up? Did he avoid making some tough decisions and/or take some risks leading to this situation?
  1. Keeping Peele on the roster. By all accounts, he seemed to have done enough to get kicked off the team. May have avoided the tough decision to cut bait.
  2. Potentially recruiting a 'risk' player in Boggs because he had the talent to play early.
  3. Crossed the line in trying to get Barnwell eligible.
  4. This is a good one. Worked to get transfers like Toler and Hester.
It is not easy to restock any empty unit and coach may have taken too many risks.
