We are not good enough to be workmen like and chop our way thru most games.
We need to play at fever pitch level,,,I watched the replay on TV, it was incredible to watch the emotion and physicality we played with, we beat that team up, we contested every ball…it was emotional for me to watch again.
Yes the blitz package was obvious, but the hitting and determination level was the difference, light years above what we've seen all year previous.
I think Flood needs to be a lot more Lombardi than Belichick…I'm telling you, if we play with that emotion we can beat anyone, and play OSU into the 4th quarter.
This is a fine line for a coach, but I hope he gets down and dirty and spends 99% of his time with the kids on playing crazy, hair on fire football. He's got plenty of time to game plan and work on Xs and Os with the coaches.
I'm hoping he doesn't spend to much time patting the kids on the back and telling them how proud he is of them, I'm hoping he's in their face screaming for the same kind of effort level every week.
