The more I read about this story the angrier I become. So in my head I am trying to figure out how something like this actually becomes a story. I have two theories that come to mind:
1. That Flood emailed this Professor and the professor felt really uncomfortable by Floods tone of the email or Flood really was suggesting something inappropriate. I find this scenario highly improbable given everything I have heard about Flood and his personality. He is a boy scout. He genuinely cares about his players and I do not think that he would do this.
2. That this professor took it upon himself to report this to the press in order to sink the Football program and create bad publicity for the school. Either way there is some sort of a leak going on here. How does the SL get wind of this story. Someone at Rutgers must have contacted them about it and they ran with it without doing their due diligence Bc they are trying to get credit for breaking this story.
The later is the bigger issue here. I would love to know who the professor was so that we can figure out if he is a friend or a foe of the program. If he is a friend then how does this story leak? Does the SL hack into Floods personal email...k would love the answer to all of these questions.
