Per friends at the university/athletics, food and drink service will be back at the RAC starting this Wednesday for the Illinois game.

Now there’s really no excuses not to get inside by 6/6:30 and get dinner in the arena - Jersey Mike’s subs are great and not too expensive. Lots of good options now. The 30 minutes leading up to 7pm will be electric in there, don’t be late

Let’s go.

Now people can stop complaining about concessions not being open and resume to just complaining about concessions.
LOL, after 20 years of complaining about the quality, price and service of our concessions people really missed them.

Maybe they upgraded the chicken nuggets while they were away.

Thanks Is it too much to ask for RU to make an official announcement on ScarletKnights.com?

Seriously.

Perhaps no announcement is the announcement? Scarlet knights.com no longer has a covid protocol pop up. Nothing telling people no food for sale, but, more importantly, nothing telling people they need covid vax cards or PCR tests or masks to get into the arena.

Perhaps food & alcohol are back & covid protocols are gone? 🤔

@Richard Schnyderite any insight?

EDIT:. Seems the rules are unchanged, it's just the pop up that went away. Under the "Fan Zone" tab the covid rules & regs are all still there.
Sigh

Yes, heard the same thing after the OSU game. Was a dumb rule, IMO.

RU just announced beer and food will be available for purchase at the game.

Now fans have less of an excuse to show up late. :)

We try to eat at home and prepare meals daily. When you cook at home, you know what products you use, their shelf life, and their quality. We rarely go to cafes and restaurants because there is a high risk of contracting an infection. You may think we are crazy, but we are not. We take care of our health. We even test the food we buy with the Food Rapid Test. With these environmental conditions, it's hard to find natural products without additives and chemicals. We try to buy as many natural products as possible that are not as harmful to our health.
