Alabama State: Head coach Brian Jenkins has been suspended for today’s game against Mississippi Valley State for an NCAA Level 3 recruiting violation, stemming from providing written offers to two recruits before Aug. 1 of their senior year. Assistant James Joseph has also been issued a one-game suspension, but will serve the sentence at a later date. Assistant head coach Allen Suber will serve as head coach for the game.
