We are counting on several new players, a bit more than normal for us,
and it makes our path uncertain

Some newbies will do well, but I would guess others will not live up to expectations, at least this their first year

Not insulted by a first four out, we can hope for better as fans of course

Yeah, RU isn't under the radar. At this point, everyone in the B1G knows the program that Pike runs and the type of teams he runs out there.

It's a non-realistic viewpoint anyway. They aren't going to somehow accumulate "gotcha" wins in which the other team simply didn't see them coming. Is that what you think RU needs to accumulate wins? They're going to win on merit, not some sort of peekaboo approach against teams that they play every year.

I think this team will be good. And generally i would prefer to exceed expectations than be rated highly and under perform.

That’s about as deep as my thinking goes
