Hey all! Hope all is well.

As some might know I used to write here at TKR, and I’m looking for your help if you know Franklin High School.

I cover HS sports for NJ.com and this summer I am tasked in putting together the Mt. Rushmore of Franklin HS athletics.

If you are unfamiliar, we compile a list of the top athletes (and coaches) in the school's history, and then residents/fans can vote on who they think should be the best four. From now until sometime in July/Aug. (don't have a date yet), I am looking for nominations for who should be included. If you kindly can, please respond to this post or email me at cnalwasky@njadvancemedia.com with the following...

Athlete name
Grad year
Sport(s) they played
Accomplishments at Franklin and beyond if any.

Feel free to add any other notes you feel is important as well.

Thank you!!

Weird take. They literally have a weekly podcast dedicated to RU sports. They assign two reporters and a columnist to RU games. (Seton gets none).

They literally seek negative takes for any sporting event

As an Alum of FHS, who played with Roy, here’s my list

Roy Hinson
Joe Pace (Bullets, pre Hinson) Franklins first Pro
Jeff Porter
Joe Porter
Louis Solomon
Diamond Miller
I believe Frank Baker (Cleveland Indians 69-71 was Franklin’s first pro

Diamond Miller. She's been hurt most of the time unfortunately.
Off track, but..This guy, and my daughter were besties at South Brunswick HS. Used to walk my dog across the street and scream for himduring games. To bad my kid was with a schmuck bf at the time, sigh.
So, who was he?

Just wanted to check in again about this. Mostly based on what they did at Franklin.

forgot all about Kevin Lyles. Went to Seton Hall and was the Hall’s most decorated runner with Big East-record 17 individual gold medals.
He also happens to be the father of Noah Lyles, currently the fastest man in the world and competing for team USA in the Olympics
