Just when you thought Illinois was going to be annointed as the fave for the Big 10 title they throw in a clunker at home vs USC down 8 with 3:30 left...I know their one european guy is out for the 2nd game in a row but still

The inability of any top tier team to establish itself and losing at home to a team who hadnt beaten a ranked team on the road since 2010. Big win for USC to say above the slop of the unfortunate 3 most likely to miss the Big 10 tournament

USC showed up and outrebounded Illinois the top rebounding team in the country which is only just effort and desire. Plus they either ran pick and roll or iso and Claude burned them time and time again with mostly layups scoring 31 points.

Granted it might have been a flat performance but just wanted to make sure you weren’t downplaying not having him as he is a key part of their dominating teams. He will likely be a top 10 pick.
