From one Scarlet Knight to another

Watching CSN here in Boston. Started with a locker room interview of McCourty then back to studio where the announcer said , "from one Scarlet Knight to another, a one on one interview with Duron Harmon." Not sure why I get so jazzed about this, but I do.

It's because guys who played for your alma mater now play for your favorite NFL team.

Admittedly a bit soapy but maybe it's also because Rutgers has few athletes who've represented your alma mater with more class on and off the field than the McCourty brothers.

Indeed. When they were freshmen, their family often parked near our tailgate group in the yellow lot. What a proud family. They wore homemade t-shirts with a photo of each of them on the front and back. I don't think they ever imagined just how successful they would become.
