Any chance that Rutgers could lure Phillipsburg, NJ native, ex-Minnesota head coach, and current Florida State TE coach/recruiting coordinator Tim Brewster to Coach Ash's staff? He could serve multiple roles at Rutgers. Brewster has recruited the Midwest and Florida, played (Illinois) and coached in the Big Ten, and started his coaching career as a high school coach in the ABE (Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton) area.

Looks like another offensive Position Coach that jumped to HC without being an OC? Lasted only 3 years as a HC....sound familiar

He makes $350,000 at FSU so no I don't think we can afford him. It would probably take $500,000 to pry him from FSU and we can only go that high for coordinators.

Not sure he would be a good coach for a spread offense.
He looks like an awesome TE Coach (credited for helping Antonio Gates).
I don't think his offensive philosophy matches Ash's

A good coach, but wrong system.

He never coached high schoolin the ABE area.

This guy's name has come up in several prior coaching searches with some advocating him as the HC. Not sure he is at the point in his career where coming back to RU as an asst would be a high priority.

If you're referring to Central Catholic High School, it was in Lafayette, Indiana.
+1. You know better than me. Thanks. I assumed from Brewster's Wiki bio that the "Central Catholic HS" was the one nearby his native area in Reading, PA.
