First off,I am tried and true Rutgers Wrestling,but this kid is such a class act.His father Dave ( who I wrestled with at the J Robinson Iowa Camp) is also equally as classy.You can see in his interview ,with his facial expression and reactions,that Gravina took it too him.I've never seen him react that way towards another wrestler.Gravina definitely put it too him.The last minute just matters so much in these matches ( ie Kolodzik's takedown on Ash).Hopefully Nick and crew learn from this.

Gravina was with him toe to toe for 2+ periods... then Dean just took over like a switch got turned on. Kid is elite.
One thing is for sure. Gravina has the makeup to get on the podium this year. I know it's a tough weight class but if he can put in 3 full periods against top 10 competition, he can go on a run.

Gravina is a beast. I remember watching him in HS he was all out all the time and real physical. He hung tough with Dean, but Dean just hit another gear when he had to. Too bad the Garden was ready to erupt (Except for the Cornell fans- and there were alot) Going to be fun watching Gravina
to have any chance, Gravina had to avoid the one situation where he would definitely get dominated and beat by Dean... on bottom, late in match, when fatigued... and he wasn't able to do it. Hopefully Gravina learns from this and uses it moving forward and improves.
