Give the guy his space.
Zing!!!I wonder how much the game ball from his 6 INT game vs Kent would go for?
Great story huskeralways... was it you?How much do you think he will pay someone to take it? Ha.
Why would anyone sell a ring like this? A Superbowl or NC ring I could see someone selling for the cash but a ring like this only has value to him and his family I would think. It isn't like it takes u a lot of space to store it.
On a side note. A few years ago an online auction site a player was selling his 3 NC rings from Nebraska. Everybody knew the player and it wasn't like he was broke. Former teammates got to digging a little deeper and found out that the player had let a family member display them at a restaurant they owned and had filed for bankruptcy. The court ruled that since the rings were in a locked case and remained on the premises at all times they were part of the business just like everything else on display. The court also ruled that the player could not buy them out of the bankruptcy. I'm not sure how it all worked but it basically ended up being to where he was not going to be able to buy them back even on the auction unless he paid the entire debt to relieve the bankruptcy which he could not afford to do. Te day of the auction the rings had been bid up to $5000 and as time got close to expiring the price got up to $21,000. Some guys that had hoped to buy the rings and return them ran out of money and everybody figured they were gone. After the entire auction was closed there was a message that came across the premium board on the NU site thanking whoever bid and tried to protect the rings but he had bought them to guarantee they got back to the player. He was a lifelong fan and couldn't stand the idea of a player losing something he worked so hard to obtain. So at the end of it all the player got his 3 rings back in an unmarked package one day. Nobody knows yet who did it.
Zing!!!
In all honesty, I hope Gary Nova is ok, hopefully he's just cleaning out his closet and not in major need of the cash

what are the odds he delivers it to the wrong person?

Why pay? He would probably give it away.........
Teel was way more consistent. And his bad wasn't the epic bad of TurnovaWorst single game performance I've seen out of a QB in my life. However, I felt that Nova was decent while he was here. Never good, just decent. Mike Teel and Gary Nova were basically the same exact player. Laviono was a poor man's version in the pro style offense.
That's disgusting! And you've now made me feel terrible for bursting out loud laughing.what are the odds he delivers it to the wrong person?
Not s super Gary fan. But once he got solid coaching from the fridge he was pretty damn good, save for the penn state game. He played his ass off against Michigan and Maryland that season. He was Big player of the week in that win over Michigan. We missed him in 2015.
'Was never Nova's fault he was forced to start as a freshman and not take a RS. He was damn good RU man - took a lot of heat, but always played hard for us.
But yeah, ring is pretty worthless.
