Gavin's throw to the cameraman

Now who was it that said Gavin isn't a very accurate thrower?

Lucky for the gonads it hit 'em on the bounce!! 😜
I had a varsity baseball friend in HS who took a fastball directly in the nuts.
He fell to his knees puking and lost a nut.
Years later when he was divorced and and miserable paying child support for four kids, I would tell him he should have lost both nuts

Did you expect Hobb to drop to his knees and massage the guys nuts ?

By your comment I can only assume you have a vagina since every guy (with testicles) realizes that there is absolutely nothing anyone else can do in this situation and except stand there and let the wave-of-pain pass
ok cupcake, I'm not sure how you were raised but by your comment I'll bet dad went out to get milk early in your life and your mother was shitty at her job

any decent person turns to offer a hand. In the longer version, Hobbs literally steps away and doesn't do a damn thing.

If Gavin would just square up his shoulders...might have been able to catch those nuts on a fly. But I give him a lot of credit for crushing nuts on the bounce. Tough throw.

I think GW must have mistaken the "e" for an "a" in the song title "The Bells Must Ring" on that throw. -(Although he does appear to have caused something to "ring" with that heave.)

The good news is though that in the end, albeit while being a bit sore, Ethan will still be able to bring home the "bacon".

GO RU

Again , to do what exactly - cup his balls?

Or did he do what ALL guys do when another guy gets hit in the nuts - just stand there and let him breath it out.

I’m actually happy Hobbs didn’t point and laugh since that’s what 50% of us do when another guy gets hit in the nuts.

But you obviously have a vagina. Thx for confirming.

Yo, Ethan, don’t get too down… you can always adopt!

The WR that was open.
Yup. In addition to the obvious "event" of that clip, it also shows that the RU receiver, (it was Dremel, I believe), had some separation on the D-back.

Now to be fair, since the throw was so far off the mark the Wisky defender might have backed off his coverage a bit. -Still, would have been nice to see Gavin at least come close to dropping the ball in there to give RU the possibility for a score.

Wow, that's an interesting quote by Wisky's Recardo Hallman: "We knew that Rutgers' quarterback was a little bit trigger-happy in terms of just kind of seeing his first read and just kind of throwing it right there and stuff like that", Hallman said. "Just kind of trying to bait him a little bit, just to make that guy look a little open and kind of come off of it. A bunch of film watching went into that".

-And you can be sure that if the Badgers can see GW's tendencies to do that, then the rest of the B1G teams will as well. -Obviously, there's still some work that needs to be done with Gavin on his read progressions and not just locking in on one receiving option.

That statement says more about our WRs than GW. translation is our WRs are so slow we can use them as bait.

To begin with, I like Gavin. I think he has a world of potential and has all the tools to be extremely good if he can just clean up an element or two, and I only want the very best for him.

That said, we'll have to agree to disagree on what the Wisky D-back was implying by his comments. He didn't mention anything at all about RU's receiver speed, or lack thereof. He was talking specifically about GW's habit of locking in on one receiver, which made that pick 6 possible,..even easy.

Hallman "baiting" him was the result of his studying film. He knew what was coming, read it like a book, and even played a bit of a mind-game with Gavin to exploit GW's known tendencies, and so will other teams on our B10 schedule until/and unless that aspect of Gavin's game can get sorted out.
