Get RichRod in here for an Interview!!!

I,am really surprised he is interviewing at SC. One has to think that he has the pieces he needs at Arizona in place to do something. Michigan showed little patience with him as he tried to get the type of players he needed to run his offense.
As for Rutgers, he would look at what we have to work with and realize how difficult it would be to get what he needed.

I would think the revenge factor would be big for RR.
I am sure his detractors would say he didnt do well at Michigan, but they did not stick with him for long.
.

My picks of the people listed lately

1) Rich Rod
2) G.S
3) Golden
4) One of the OSU assistants
5) Cristoibal

I put GS at #2 because I would know what I am getting and I would hope he has been a bit humbled by his experience in the NFL.

Butch Davis and it's not even close........great game day coach.....would put together a great staff....high school coaches would love to send their kids to ru to play for this guy. Is ru willing to look past the North Carolina academic scandal given the fact that he was completely exonerated? Can we pony up the cash to make it happen?

I'd be fine with Butch Davis.

How about Wannstead ?

I thought he wanted to get back to college coaching.
I thought he did a good job at Pitt. Had great staff there ex-NFL coach, good recruiter..

Lane Kiffin-as a recruiter no one can come close. No one!

You could resurrect Bear Bryant and have him coach here and he'll tell you "it starts with the athletes". Bobby Bowden in an interview confirmed that B. Bryant taught him that it's easier to coach, develop and win with elite athletes.

Why? I've been telling you guys he and his wife want to come back east..... Rutgers will blow this hire.

How many schools wanted Narduzzi?

How many wanted Mullen he 1st started?

Ash is a fit for the B1G, much more so than ACC IMO.

I prefer to buy low and sell high.
The time to buy Ash is now.
You watch / if we pass, he will turn out to be very good and we will have missed our chance.

Rich Rod seems like a Dick Rod. I don't know. He seems slimy, and not a, dare I say, RUTGERS man.

his offense wasn't the problem at Michigan. he scored points it was his defense. his first season worst defense in school history. second season worst defense in school history. 3rd season worst defense in school history. they ranked 119 in defense. he then threw the players under the bus and said vince Lombardi counldnt win with these guys on defense.the next year with a new coach those same guys were a top 20 defense. won 6 bigten games in 3 years. 15- 22 6-18 b10. never beat a b10 team that finished over 500

How could anyone think Rutgers would be willing to look past Butch Davis' academic scandals at UNC? Right now the last thing we need is more fodder for the Star Wretched and NJ.com guys.

He had exactly the kind of pieces needed to run his offense. Ever heard of Denard Robinson? They were killing it on O and beat Illinois something like 67-65 in the highest scoring game in B1G history.

The failure of Rodriguez at Michigan and nothing at all to do with offense or a lack of patience. His style of football is just a bad fit for the B1G (at least among teams that desire to contend for championships).
