Excited its game day, against the team on our schedule we most want to beat.

Excited that not ALL of he last 15 threads that have been started are about our off-the-field issues.

As fans, we will get an opportunity to enjoy our team again without reservation. The clouds will part.

I've spent time recently thinking about a guy who sits in my section at the game. He usually appears to be alone, and is the biggest supporter in my section.
Every cheer, every first down on offense, every third down on defense - every chant, every time - he's all in.

I've never spoken to him, but I look for him at every game - he never misses.
He inspires me, makes me get even more into the acton than I would on my own - which is especially fun when my kids are with me at the game.

He's a true fan - I'm sure his heart is breaking a little bit recently like all of us. But when we get to the game next weekend, I know I can count on him being "all-in" as always.
He will push me to cheer harder.
I often wonder if others that sit around him in our section think the same things I do.

So I ask my fellow round table members - do you have a similar story for your times at the games. - either in the stadium our outside?
Does anyone inspire you to be a better fan?

I feel like collectively we could use some good stories right now.

The sun will shine on our program in the future, and I will enjoy cheering them on, knowing what dark days feel like, and having pride in the fact that we perservered through them.

And I look forward to seeing that guy in my section - he will deserve to celebrate more than me.

Go Knights.
