I wasn't sure if coach Ash would be able to handle the duties of RU H/C and OSU D/C, but I have to admit he has been very active from what I can gather. He has evaluated and made decisions regarding the Flood coaching staff, begun to interview and hire new staff, as well as assign staff to make recruit visitations. Add to those accomplishments the fact that, he has met with the current players, added a Special Teams Coordinator, extended offers to recruits committed to other programs as well as reached out to players many posters thought might be on the verge of de-committing. I'm sure that I've missed some of the visits and communications taking place over the last 24 hours but the following list is very impressive work. Harmon, Rene, Dwumfor, Russo, Fuller, Manning, Pollock, Barbir, Sneed, Campbell and Johnson are just the known contacts coach Ash or his representatives have reached out to in the last 48 hours. Hard work and relentless recruitment will be needed to turn the program around, and if the last 48 hours are an indication of what RU fans can expect, then I believe we are in pretty good shape. Many hires and events have yet to play out, but you have to admit, it's pretty exciting around RU football right now.
