Never been so proud. These ladies have represented RU superbly in the B10.

You could let the schedule play out for you. In October 6 of the last 8games are hpme.
They are away the next to weekends so you have time to think about it
Nice,we are building a powerhouse in soccer. It's about time that we benefit from the talent NJ has in soccer and also softball.
Ohio State (#15) and TTFP (#7) were both ranked ahead of RU (#19) in last weeks poll. OSU is at RU on Oct 15 while the other team is here on the Oct 18th.
...the next three games are away for the women but I have the following home games circled:
10/4 Michigan...a good team and we may still be undefeated by then.
10/15 Ohio State.....top ten team....
10/18 *****Penn State.....top ten team....the game of the regular season this year*****
You could see this coming and, no doubt, Casey Murphy is an absolute stud in the net which is a HUGE plus for us!
What is their avg attendance this season?

She may very well be, but it our tenacious defending all over the field, especially our very talented back line, that is keeping the slate clean thus far.
I don't see them on their website (but not everything in the store is on the website),but I am pretty sure Scarlet Fever in New Brunswick has Rutgers Womens Soccer hats and shirts. Their phone number is 732-247-4678
Casey is a stud, but rudad is right (and hopefully somebody can do the research for me), but the D doesn't allow many shots at all during a game. She hasn't had to do too much, thankfully.
The RU 'D" has been outstanding as mentioned above.. However, we were out-shot by UConn 18 - 13.
SOG's were 6-5 and one of the saves by Casey was a great play as it was point-blank. I was sure that UConn was going to tie the score at that point.

I've seen all of our home games & that was one of the only times she has been tested. Shots on goal can be misleading, as many are from long range & represent no threat. Not taking anything away from Casey's abilities, but our D has been just outstanding. It hasn't allowed very much at all thus far. Hope everyone continues to fire on all cylinders. As noted on the soccer board, this is a very well coached team. Excellent positioning, communication, toughness, & chemistry, not to mention the overall skill level.
WIth Carley being a national heroine, who wears her RU roots proudly and the great start, the program has tremendous momentum. They rep RU well on all levels and are fun to watch. It is great having the Ladies soccer and basketball teams in the national conversation.
