They are going on stubhub for $6 for Wednesday's opening session at the Verizon Center. Furthermore its general admission so you can sit anywhere you want. I guess they are expecting no one to be there to be. I have to say this is true, I went to the ACC opening round in DC last year and there was maybe 1,000 people.

Yikes! Those #'s are pathetic! Good luck getting this tourney back, D.C.!

MSG is probably the only venue where you get a decent crowd for opening round games. Especially the formatt the Big Ten uses with many of the top teams getting two rounds of byes, you pretty much ensure the first round is a ghost town because the tournament doesn't really even "start" until the second round. The "first round" is essentially play-in games.

With all that said .. I don't care and I want RU to win a game in the B!G tournament (something they haven't done yet). That would be a very nice accomplishment for this team in a year where things are looking better. This would be a good step. Win two games and I think we would all be ecstatic.

opening round games are always sparsely attended especially when they are having the first one at 4:30PM...the early round BE tourney games also were poorly attended but benefitted from having more schools closer to NYC

Big 10 isnt making decisions based on attendance in early rounds...its all about quarterfinals and on. I expect Maryland fans to pack the place

I have attended the last two tournaments in Chicago and Indy and it was the same way. Headed down on Wednesday hope to see our first Big 10 tournament win
