Gravina Granted Sixth Year

Based on the article, it looks like he already graduated, is working on his masters now, and plans on doing doctoral work during his sixth year.

On the other thread I told everyone I am working on getting Suriano a 6th year because it is a shame the he did not compete in the Big Tens and NCAAs. We are on a hot streak so why not try?

He outdid David Taylor on growth through college. :)

Somebody actually explained the rather arcane NCAA rules on this subject to me and I understand now how Gravina received the waiver. He does seem to just qualify for it, albeit very narrowly. I think if he had wrestled one more dual meet and one week longer, he probably would not have qualified.
