“I think it’s pretty impressive they’re inside the top 45,” said Adam Friedman, the Mid-Atlantic recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. “When you consider what happened last fall, it could have taken away all the momentum. But it really didn’t happen that way.”
“Those four pieces (Lewis, Clark, Fogg, Melton) are extremely important,” Friedman said. “They’re going to build around them.” He added that Clark, an early enrollee who will participate in spring practice, has “NFL-type potential.”
“I think Ash did a good job of locating some guys before the season,” said Bobby Deren, editor of ScarletReport.com, which is part of Rivals, “and he was able to sell them on his vision for the future.”
