An area of low pres will ride alg the stalled front and bring
rain to the area on Fri. There is still some disagreement in the
mdls as to the extent of the rain and the locations of the
heaviest, with the GFS indicating most rain n and very little s
and the ECMWF having a more widespread event. For now, will just
carry high chc everywhere.

Mdls then clear things out Fri night into early Sat, so have
lowered pops and removed them for the first part of Sat.

Then there is more disagreement in the mdls into Sat as both mdls
develop precip again but the ECMWF is more widespread into early
Sun. However, by later Sun, both the GFS and ECMWF has another
good shot of precip over the area as another wave moves by alg the
front.

Tango,Always go with something positive. I just ran into a guy who told me about this new thing that is going to be really big and I should pour as much money as I can into their stocks--he says it is called MySpace. I just bought a 1,000 shares. The money should be rolling in any day now.

Heaven - sorry, you're very likely to be wrong on this one. While it shouldn't be a total washout on Saturday and Sunday, there will likely be enough showers/t-storms to impact outdoor activities, at times. Could be 1/2" of rain on each day in storms (and possibly more in some locations), although the optimistic view is that hopefully, those showers will be infrequent, but locally heavy, leaving long dry spells.

Had a flight outta Jersey early morning today. The way the "pros" were talking I thought we were screwed & would never get out on time

Nope. Flight took off at 7:30am as scheduled. Barely a light rain even

Another media hyped swing and miss thankfully. I was very grateful to say the least.

Monk,
You just hit on a great new recruiting strategy, "if you want dull weather,go to UCLA or San Diego State,if you want full weather diversity, Piscataway has everything." To quote a famous beverage commercial, BRILLIANT !

Well, we didn't get that lucky. Showers have been very widespread since early afternoon and some locations in Mercer and southern Somerset/Middlesex have been getting deluged with 2+" of rain already and flash flood warnings are up. As the saying goes, turn around, don't drown. PGA in a rain delay and not looking good for any more golf today. Hopefully storms will be more scattered tomorrow, but that's iffy right now - could well be more of the same.

Up in Westchester County,NY today. Maybe Ash can get all the burgers together and bring all the recruits up to John Jay High School.--As long as The Bubble doesn't wash away,he should be fine, Speaking of that, any recent talk from him or anyone else regarding the long term goal of a permanent indoor practice building ?

Rivers of water in princeton and three feet of it in my basement. First time this has happened. I've never seen so much rain in such a short period before.

Heard a report that Princeton got 5 inches of rain in 3 hours
