I do like the tributes to 50 years of MVPs and performers. But these are 3 acts that really do not belong together.
I will say Lady GaGa did a pretty good job on the National Anthem

i can't believe for the 50th Super Bowl they had this crap
I love Coldplay but they were the red headed step child during the halftime show. Beyoncé and Bruno Mars delivered and Lady Gaga blew me away with the national anthem.
You will never see Taylor Swift perform a Super Bowl National Anthem. Her voice is too weak which would cause her to lose fans.
you better edit that out or the swifties/crazy teenage girls will have you killed for saying bad stuff about her.

Rip away, i thought it was fun and upbeat. Could have done without Beyonce dancing.
Lady Gaga killed it on the National anthem. And she sang live....not a lip sync. The game has been sloppy with way too many turnovers. I can't remember the last great halftime show.

Lots of "get off my lawn" in this thread. Coldplay had one boring song (the second one), but the rest of it was a worthwhile halftime show. Uptown Funk was a great song for halftime.
Agreed 100%. The directing was not great for seeing the overall visuals, but I was thoroughly entertained. Much like the game, I like good defense.
76% positive comment analysis on Twitter. Some OPs will complain about anything.
I stopped paying attention about 2 min into it. Yawn. Highlight of my night has been the Korean wings we ordered from Kraverie in Jersey City and bourbon.

It is definitely time for Peyton Manning to retire. His release has really slowed.
Acoustics were terrible. I like Coldplay but was underwhelmed by the halftime show.
The halftime show is for women and kids. They prolly loved it. My wings were good. Pasta and sausage really good. The game ? A yawner.
That's the Rutgers way... complain, complain and do some more complaining. [roll][roll] Life would be nothing for Rutgers fans without complaining about something.
this...plus they don't have the stage presence to pull a show like this off in the US

Ahhh ca mon Doug, the whole production(beginning to end) has sucked! And, just because the "twitter" crowd liked it doesn't mean squat!
Coldplay has always been a boring band to me.
