congratulations on the anniversary of your birthday!

For 250 years, Rutgers has been the shining light of higher education. The beacon of human potential, the consistent friend when friends were few and far between.
Thanks for being there! We are a better city, county, community, state, and country because YOU have been a part of our history!
Here's to 250 more!

Thank you, but you didn't see us play against Michigan this year!

Oh yeah, I saw that fiasco. Embarrassing as was the Arkansas loss to Auburn. Sometimes teams just aren't ready to play.

It's not how many times that you have been knocked down, rather, how many times did you stand back up AFTER being knocked down.

Suit up! You are starting again this week!

Pretty sure my sister and I were the first brother and sister tandem to graduate from Rutgers New Brunswick in 1975.

My freshman year, 1971 RU New Brunswick, was all men. In 1972, first year of women at Rutgers College , my sister transfers in from Rutgers Newark. 2 Years later we graduate together (1975).

A few years later , my youngest sister also graduates from Rutgers College. She goes on to be a Prof at Middlesex CC. Leaves there to take a gamble on on line education, gets a Doctorates and winds up starting up a company that sells soft ware and curriculams to Colleges around the country starting up their online education courses. Hit it very big.
The Sister I graduate with is now publishing her 4th novel and doing well in NW NJ.

Yet, I'm the only one who still goes to the Football games and Wrestling and Basketball, lol. We all used to go to the RU- Princeton football games.

Will see the campus again next Saturday , go to Olde Queens Tavern, maybe Olive Branch (formerly Pattis) go see the Wrestling, then the Penn St game .Can't break the habit.

It's very ironic how life has so many twists and turns, isn't it? Some people hit the money jackpot when they aren't even looking for it. Others search for success all their lives and yet it may elude them.

In the end, it really doesn't matter in my opinion. None of us can take the money with us, but we can take great memories with us any time. That's why it is so important to build relationships with good people. That is why it is important to build relationships with institutions that transcend time, like Rutgers. That legacy will live forever.

Thanks for recognizing what I wrote above. Important to me, my sisters, probably not anyone else. Appreciate your words. It was terrific meeting you and your wife a few years ago.
