Watching the Michigan-BYU game replay. The play by play guy just said Michigan's resident genius is running his offense based on short passes and running back by committee because he feels that's what is best for their QB (multi year starter at Iowa) at this point. He said they have thrown very few deep passes so far this year.
In no way am I saying Jim H and Flood are on the same level. That'd be dumb. I'm just pointing out offenses do what they feel is best based on their personnel. Also, Michigan has a number of new starters along the OL just like RU.
Thoughts?
