Has Julie ever hired a coach at RU?

She tried to get mullen when she was first hired on so at least she's got some good ideas and an eye for talent.

She would need money to do this and after more than 2 years on the job the jury is still out if she can raise it.

Pretty sure she's hired several now: swimming, soccer, baseball, maybe track and field and golf?

why do people think good coaches wouldn't want to work for Julie? Haven't you ever had a female boss? It's not like it's the rarest thing around, maybe there aren't many female ADs but doesn't Penn State have a female AD?

It's probably only a matter of time until the numbers increase. Yes they have to deal with football and giant egos, but ADs run all of the sports. Football may drive the bus, but I'm sure schools will look at the overall success rate for the programs until the control of female ADs. If schools are doing well across the board, more will get hired imo.

womens lacrosse went 2-15 and the coach was on a contract year. How do you keep someone when the program is in the crapper and her mandate was to improve all sports at Rutgers!!

Well, if Flood isn't terminated the end of this season, I think he will be the next year. Will the fans show up with two consecutive 4-8 season? How many fans will be lost, 5,000, 10,000 or 20,000? That about $3.5 million, $7 million or $14 million lost revenue. You don't think someone is looking at lost revenue base on our win lose record?

RU's overall fundraising has never been better in any of our lifetimes, or maybe ever.

RU's profile on a national stage has never been higher.

RU's rankings in several historically donor heavy programs (business, medical, life sciences) have never been higher.

Athletics fundraising has gone from "what's raising money specifically for athletics" to quite respectable in 15 years.

I'm a tough grader, but some of you guys are mired in a state of perpetual misery...
