I know little about the inner workings at Rutgers. Even after being an active member of this board for 12+ years I still don't get who are the big players, especially those who are in the backround. It's seems there at least 2 powerful factions in the AD with vastly different agendas, Barchi and the academics, BOG, Politicians, Boosters, and the individual sport specific folks like Flood, Jordan, CVS, etc.
Of course it's ultimately all Barchi's decision but who are the biggest players? Brown I understand but who else? Is Christie involved in any way?
Who are the wizards behind the curtain who have done more bad than good and why can't they be given their walking papers if they're hurting the university? I understand RU isn't run like a corporation but in the 35+ years I spent in that world, you did your job or you didn't. If you didn't or had an agenda different than the goals set by the company you were gone.
Help me out here. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I'm trying really hard to understand.
