Most programs have had their share of off the field issues. It may be a byproduct of upbringing or lack thereof, or it may be that too many of these kids have been coddled into a sense of entitlement because of their prowess on the field.

Regardless, the volume of these issues which are occurring at RU now under KF is alarming. Some of us, including myself described Flood as a "Mini-Me" of Schiano to a degree when he took over. Everything from "Chop" to F.A.M.I.L.Y from the Schiano era was embraced by Flood and continued. Kind of like you unzip Greg and Kyle steps out.

The problem is that although he is a likeable guy who I still believe has tremendous integrity, he's too much of a "players coach" and not enough of a disciplinarian. That it where the comparisons to Schiano end in my mind. Say what you want about GS's game day coaching, he held these kids accountable and the result was very few off the field incidents and a much improved academic and graduation standing.

If Flood stays, he better lay down the law and fast.
