pick a drink quickly from the coke machines, i dont have all day to watch you stand there all dumbstruck. Do that on your own time and by the way, water is the blue on the left....you don't have to look through the options for desani lol

Look..it was something entirely new. Maybe after a game or two people will be more familiar with the process and the machine. It is entirely understandable that this first go around had people getting educated.

Maybe you should prepare or ask Coke to put together a demo video to help speed up the selection process. Post it here or perhaps periodically on the screens in the Audi Club during timeouts etc. It's a simple matter of instruction and education. With none of the above then it's left for you to figure it out or another person in line to assist you.

These machines are not made for fast service. First you've got to click through a few windows before you get to your drink and then there's only one fountain. So, it's gonna take some time on a per drink served basis...even if you know the clicks your gonna enter. Nothing beats 10 fountains side by side where you just walk up to your drink of choice and pour while others are using some of the other 10 fountains. Coke has had these out for a few years now...but surprised they don't go with the old technology for use with the masses.

My girlfriend's son in law just became CFO of Audi America on September 1. She will make sure he sees this thread. Heads will roll I assure you... :cop::)

Yeah... About that... I feel like maybe I could be getting better discounts on my cars.

Also, those electronic Coke machines are asinine. They have them at my local Burger King, too. It's like Old People Hell.

The horse that sang the PC alma mater at the DJ booth was too loud.

I'm not normally up there, but I was up there for this game because friends couldn't make it. Thank god for that, as the heat was brutal.

To defend OP and give context, the line was insanely long. You had to be drinking water out there, and it was pretty annoying to miss a chunk of the game every time.

What annoys me is that they knew it was going to be a problem (as evidenced by signage directing you to also get soda/water at the bar). BUT...

1) They didn't put the sign where the line was, they put it right next to the machine

2) I get the licensing deal, but if you know that these machines can not serve the same number of customers per hour... you need to put in more machines. Simple.

Worked fine with the Pepsi machines! Let's sell the masses $6.00 Dasani waters at the "hydration stations" too... Mr (Coca-Cola) Potter is giggling and wringing his hands. Suckers.

Truth. You would think they would want a wall of those things for their own purposes. Heck, the Five Guys by my house has 3 of them. I think there were only 2 for the entire club section.

Went to the bar, got water and soda, by pass lines lol

That's going to be a tough job once the company is done paying all their diesel fraud claims.

Audi is relatively uninvolved, as their diesel product mix is very low generally and less than 1% in the U.S. Parent company VW is bearing all the weight in this action and has realigned its strategy to allow Audi to play a larger role in the U.S. market while lowering VW brand expectations via the elimination of several current models.

It was a cross between Armageddon and End of Days at HPSS yesterday.

Up, Believe me he and his lovely wife and newborn male heir are never going to want for anything. The guy had to learn to be fluent in German in 4 months in order to accept the job. And he has
.

Disney is trying to put these things into their quick service restaurants and what not. It will be a complete disaster, with the old style fountain, you could hypothetically fill 4+ cups at the same time. Now you limit it to one at a time, and the old people who can't use touch screen technology, and the little kids who everytime something pops up goes "OH I WANT THAT, OH I WANT THAT NOW" it just slows everything down.

I agree!!!

Kids, Infants, unruly teens should NOT be brought to a football game. Especially the Audi Lounge, which is for SERIOUS fans.

IF you can't strictly control your offspring, then chain them to their seats or better yet, LEAVE THEM THE F HOME!!!!

I don't have a dog in the fight but I commend OP for trying to straighten out the riff raft up there.

are people actually complaining about standing in a line in the air conditioning while the rest of the stadium was passing out from the heat and finding out the concessions ran out of water? Doesn't the Audi Club have TV's and sound inside?

this board will literally bitch about anything.

Yes.

Because they aren't complaining about their situation vs anyone else's, they're complaining about their current situation vs. their situation last year, prior to the Coke deal - which was implemented in a fashion that has so far resulted in a worse fan experience.

The complaint isn't about "standing in line", air conditioning or not. The complaint is about the implementation of a process that is far, far less efficient than the process it replaced, and for no particularly good reason.

What's scary is : those kids will turn into old-timers, so expect those machines to always have slow people using them.
