I'm not an expert, but, it looks Wharton should have turned quicker to stay with the WR. If so, he probably breaks up this 3rd down pass. He is only a redshirt freshmen, so, he will get better at covering passes like this. Maybe, the safety was just a little slow getting over....possibly held up by Connor Cook looking him off.
