I think Hobbs already tipped his hand when he said the biggest obstacle to success is recruiting and to improve recruiting you must remove the "Albatross" .

Only facilities and recruits.

Save the ~$2 million per year on the head coach and staff and put that towards the building fund.
Let one of the posters coach the team.
