Hollin Pierce at Shrine Bowl

for minus 1 yard...should have just fair caught the ball per his training....

no just kidding. Great to see him having fun.

Nice Longerbeam article from a Steelers site.
Weight is definitely the issue. Not many if any 170 lb corners in the NFL if any less than 180.

Interesting. Don’t think I really ever pay attention to his weight and wonder if it also contributed to some of the durability issues he faced the season.

Beam is beaming up the draft list.

Such a fine representative of Rutgers:

Good to hear Pierce is OK, got a nice writeup from PHLY's Fran Duffy in his Shrine Bowl report. Behind a paywall but here's the relavant Pierce blurb:
Most of the offensive tackles struggled, but to me the one who had the most steady play was Rutgers’ Hollin Pierce. He’s a huge human being, standing nearly 6-8 and over 340 pounds with arms over 36 inches long. There’s a lot to clean up in the run game, but I was pleasantly surprised with him in the pass game. He’s tough to get around and he was no slouch moving in reverse
