I think we will need to get 30 points or more to win. WSU is probably going to smoke our secondary. It might be a real barn burner like 1992 VT.

Relax, you will be.I am expecting a high scoring game but hope that our lines will dominate on both sides of the ball. Their QB last year was good at getting off quick passes but I'm hoping the new guy won't be as good as that so that our D-line will have a day like Temple's did on Saturday.
On O, I'm expecting RU to have several long drives in which we chew up the clock, keeping WSU's O off the field. But I also expect us to take advantage of their apparently many defensive weaknesses and have some very big scoring plays.
It should be a fun game but I would like to be relaxed going into the 4th quarter.

The real question is, do we open the game with a bomb to Carroo again....and do they fall for it....again?
_____________Didn't they put up 17 on Portland state? I say we only need 20 but we'll probably put up 40+.
1 more than WSU
Interesting point. But when was the last time a football game was won 2-0? Rutgers beat Stevens by the score of 2-0 in 1882, but back then a goal was worth 1 point.Unless WSU is shutout, then we'll need 2 more.
Lets put it this way - if Im the coaching staff, Im certainly not planning on winning any games scoring in the 20s until the new secondary shows it can do its job. Assume we need at least 35 to win against anyone better than Army and Kansas.Assuming good weather, Don't see a realistic scanairo that we win this game in the 20s
As every game, you need to think scoring in the 30s plus and a gameplan to hold the opposition to 24/375
