Huge article up by Dunleavy

There are “haters” out there. But the bottom line is that most of us are fans of Rutgers. This was the most storied program in school history and it wasn’t close. We just want to win and when she retires we want to continue to win with a top replacement. Its pretty straight forward

Really nice comprehensive article, though I think this graph sets expectations a tad too high:

"There are eight games between now and then, so it is possible that Rutgers could reel off 16 straight wins if it avoids an upset against Michigan State, Illinois, Penn State (twice), Purdue, Minnesota and Indiana."

Given that RU, like the teams above, is also unranked, not sure you can consider a loss against all of these teams an "upset" (though some would make more sense than others). We certainly need to win all the games at the RAC, but playing at Michigan St (who has a very talented team) Purdue and Indiana on the road won't be easy.

I thought that Stringer's ship had long since sailed. Happy to see that I was wrong.
I admire fans that can admit that they were too quick to judge CViv as having had the game pass her by rudad02. IMO, she has been working for the past few years to incorporate more 3 point shooters into her offensive game plan, while never abandoning her emphasis on defense. She finally has the personnel to carry out her vision - a star in Tyler and a very good supporting cast with great depth. I love this team and really hope they get her to 1000 wins. I am still waiting for richthedentist to post something good about this team. He is the first to call for Vivian's head when the women are not playing well, but never posts when they are winning.

You can bet that crowd will stop by after a loss!
