Was watching on my laptop, as is my preferred method, and decided, "I'm a flub, I'm going to go for a walk at halftime, and listen to the 2nd half on my phone." I wasn't overwhelmed with positivity, however I did want some fresh air and figured at best, we would make it a game, and at worst, we would make it a game.

Cut to my walk -- I search for the live stream of 710 AM, but instead keep hearing whatever lame talk show they have on, so I figure it might not be the correct stream, and then I remember! I watch the game on Fox Sports Live (via the link from the B10 Network, so why don't I just log in and watch the game as I walk (keeping an eye out for traffic, of course). Well, the Fox stream kept cutting in and out. So then I'm like, "wait, am I going to be stuck with the ESPN gamecast that is always a minute or two behind and that just doesn't provide the immediate satisfaction of hearing Carlin's call on 710 or whomever is on the call on Fox/Big10 whatever it is. So, for basically the first time ever, I locate the WRSU live stream, and boy, can I tell ya . . . THAT is a different experience. At first I thought they were calling it from the WRSU studios, but then one of the gentlemen started describing the bubbles that kept floating out across the field, and speculating that it was part of the "Dad Day" celebration at the Illini stadium. They laughed, they speculated about whether RU could hold on (once they scored to take the lead), they debated about what play to call on 3rd down when Vedral ended up carrying it for the first down. It was, dare I say, pleasant?

So, the moral of the story is: Get some exercise, don't get upset if you can't find AM 710 or the Fox live stream, and whatever you do, FROM NOW ON, LISTEN TO THE GUYS ON WRSU!!!

THIS IS 100% BETTER ADVICE THAN LISTENING TO RUTGERSAL's UPSET ALERTS!

Carry on.
