You can't be serious.First of all,you are assuming Illinois will lose to Rutgers and there is no certainty that will happen.Second, coming in 13th will ensure another consecutive losing season which is far more important than one position in league rankings.Third, even bringing this topic up shows no sense of urgency to show real improvement that would attract higher level recruits.Finish in 13th place and it’s considered improvement. Goal achieved.
My man Dusty May is not fooling around at FAU. Has nine wins, last year FAU won 12 games all season. To Florida Atlantic in OT.
Those r always painful. Love seeing it in football against the big boys. App state over Michigan was funOh and it was a buy game too. So Illinois paid FAU to come to Champaign and beat them.
Ouch.
One has nothing to do with the other. Two separate independent events. And we lost to Fordham. We need to finish higher than 13 IMO.
These sound like the goals of a middle school rec league coach. Way to set the bar pathetically low.We “need” to do NOTHING but show that our young guys have learned the game by the end of the year, have a healthy, FULL offseason of workouts and training, bring in our 2 PGs, and go from there next season
