I think we're much better than we are being given credit for, and I'm confident we will shine tonite. We're a few plays from 5-1, and if Carroo plays vs PSU, we very well could be 6-0.

I think we seize the victory, 31-28 based on the following improvements from last year:

-Kiy Hester and Davon Jacobs at SS (Significantly Better)

Huge upgrade over what we had last year. Many of the big runs in last years game last year came because our safety had a chance to make a play and didn't make the play. Hester is a big time talent and will one day be Rutgers' Ed Reed.

- Chris Laviano at QB

Didn't expect to be writing this, but must give credit where it's due. Till now, Laviano has been an upgrade over Nova at QB. He's thrown for an excellent completion percentage while minimizing turnovers. He'll need a big game tonite for Rutgers to be successful, and is capable of delivering it.

-Rossi mixing defenses up

This year were more aggressive, playing more man to man and Rossi is dialing up blitzes more often. Though the improvement is not being reflected in the statistics, I'm liking what I'm seeing.

- Joseph and Wilkins at NT (Good)

Last years nose tackle looked like he was playing on roller skates many plays. This years NTs have been solid, though there were some instances where Joseph got taken for a ride when we played Penn State. Wilkins has been solid, and is going to be one of the best that ever played at Rutgers. This group is significantly upgraded from last year.

-Dorian Miller at Right Guard

The guy has quietly stepped in and become one of our best linemen. If he continues to develop, I foresee an NFL future

- Derek Nelson at Center

After watching Nelson play, I've been breathing a huge sigh of relief, because the guy has been solid overall. His effectiveness has shown what a year of development and more years of seasoning can do.

-Martin, Hicks, and James at RB

OSU is giving up a whopping 158.7 yards per game rushing this season.
last year, People's had a decent game against OSU , and ripped off a 20+ yard run. I think this trio of future NFLers are ready to have a big night. For Rutgers to win, I honk we need a 300 yard + rushing night.

- TEs Arcidiacano, Flanagan etc

Arcidiacono is developing into one of the best blocking tight ends Rutgers has ever had. Flanagan has demonstrated pass catching consistency

- Anthony Cioffi at FS

Kid has terrific instincts, which is why he is Among Big Ten leaders in interceptions

- Our young corners(Austin, Wharton, Adams)

This group has improved exponentially from where they were at the beginning of the year, and I feel very proud of their progress. They will get beat from time to time, but with every pass, defended, they are getting better, and before they leave, they are going to establish themselves as some of Rutgers best ever.

Talentwise, we are much better off than a year ago. Like with most games, it will come down to execution. We play like Champions, we will beat the champions.
